The oldest of four, Daniel was raised between his native New Zealand, Hawaii and Oregon. Learning oriented to the core, he's thrown himself into every new interest with gusto becoming, for example, a professional snowboard instructor at 17, studying music at Julliard and practicing martial arts with the acclaimed Dan Inosanto. Still, it's the exploration of the human psyche that most thrills him. He first discovered his love of acting at age 9, when he starred as Captain Hook in a local play. Drawn to complex personalities, Daniel approaches acting as a tour of discovery, an ever evolving adventure. This ethos, coupled with his global perspective and unique life experience, inspires his ability to layer and portray a wide range of fascinating and memorable characters.
He currently resides between America and New Zealand.
